Taught by people who do the work
The course is run by the agency team, not by full-time trainers. That matters because search and advertising change constantly: what worked eighteen months ago is often actively wrong now, and only people running live campaigns notice quickly. Every module is built from work we are currently doing for clients, with the specifics anonymised.
What our training covers
Digital marketing is our main core business — covering search engine optimisation (technical audits, on-page structure, keyword research), Google Ads SEM, Meta & LinkedIn SMM, content marketing, email deliverability, and analytics reporting. Alongside our marketing masterclasses, Thinkcone Academy also provides basic to advanced computer and programming courses — ranging from foundational IT literacy and office tools to web coding (HTML/CSS/JS/PHP) and software engineering concepts.
Who it suits
People starting a marketing career, business owners who want to stop outsourcing blindly, and in-house staff who inherited marketing without training. No prior technical background is assumed, though comfort with spreadsheets helps. If you already run campaigns and want depth in one channel, tell us and we will say honestly whether the course adds anything for you.
Live campaigns, not hypothetical exercises
Students work on real campaigns with real budgets and real consequences. Case studies teach you what someone else decided; running a campaign teaches you why the decision was hard. Coursework is assessed on the reasoning behind decisions rather than on the outcome, because a sound decision can still lose to a competitor with ten times the budget.
Frequently asked questions
What is the fee for the digital marketing course in Kathmandu?
Fees depend on the format — group cohort, one-to-one, or corporate training for a team — and are quoted directly rather than listed, because the three differ substantially. Contact us and we will give you the figure for the format you want without a sales process.
How long does the course take?
The core programme runs over several weeks with weekly sessions plus campaign work between them. The campaign work is the part that takes real time; sessions without it produce people who can describe digital marketing but not do it.
Do you provide certification and placement support?
We certify completion of the programme. On placement, we introduce strong students to our network and to clients who are hiring, but we do not guarantee jobs — anyone guaranteeing placement is either restricting who they admit or overstating what they control.
Do I need a technical or marketing background to join?
No. The course starts from fundamentals and builds up. Comfort with spreadsheets and a willingness to read documentation will make it easier, but neither is a prerequisite.
Is the training online or in person in Kathmandu?
Sessions run in person in Kathmandu, which works better for campaign reviews and live troubleshooting. Ask us about remote options if travelling to Kathmandu is not practical for you.
